Rido, a priest working at the church in the royal capital, finds himself unexpectedly commanded by Archbishop Golbert to relocate to the isolated village of Rasutara. The cause of this order? He allegedly gave a useless skill to a duke's daughter. Despite Rido's efforts to clarify the skill's value, Golbert remains unwilling to listen. Reluctantly Rido is sent into exile to the frontier, accompanied by his cherished cat, Silky. However, this event marks the start of an extraordinary tale. Golbert, who was behind Rido's banishment, did not realize Rido's genuine power—his capability to single-handedly defeat dragons, the mightiest beings. Furthermore Rido had the remarkable skill to bestow legendary-level abilities at his discretion.
