Ryu was abandoned by the heroic party of his childhood friend, who informed him that they could not bring a trainer along. He manages a ranch in the village but spends his time feeling inadequate. One day, he rescues a wolf from a trap in the forest... I like you. The wolf he saved turns out to be Fenrir, a legendary demon! The elder of the pack has lost his magical abilities and is seeking someone to assist him. No typical trainer can restore his powers, but Ryu possesses magical abilities that surpass even those of the hero's childhood friend...? After successfully aiding the elder, Ryu learns how to control the immense magical energy that could potentially overwhelm him. He becomes cherished by Fenrir's pack and transforms into an exceptional trainer!
